My First Employee

1999 — The First Employee
Married at 21 and full of ideas, the long verandah of our home in India became my first studio. Already selling a few handmade products, I set up a small table, a chair, and a handheld sewing machine — and hired a young girl who could stitch. The process was simple: I would design and cut the fabric, and she would bring it together. The neighbors noticed. Word spread without a single advertisement. Before long, the orders were pouring in — and a real business had quietly begun.

Moved To Sultanate of Oman

As a young couple, we were offered an opportunity to work in Oman — and with our little daughter, just days past her first birthday, we packed up and made the move. Oman was a whole new world for me — Arabic, beautiful, and full of warmth. The people were kind and welcoming, and I soon found my place doing what I loved most. I began teaching my craft to Omani women, and the joy was mutual — they were thrilled to learn something new, and I was equally inspired by their enthusiasm. We had so much fun together, and those memories remain some of the most cherished of my life.

 My Premature Son

From 2000 to 2009, I poured my heart into raising our little girl and continued teaching my craft to the wonderful women of Oman. Then came the time for our second child — but the journey was far from easy. We faced serious complications during the pregnancy, and our son arrived into the world far too soon, weighing just 1kg. My whole world turned upside down. He spent a month and a half in the incubator, and the day we finally brought him home, he weighed just 1.4kg. I was terrified — he felt so fragile, so tiny. But somehow, with love, faith, and sheer determination, we did it.

Mind Mapping Instructor

In 2011, I travelled to London to learn Mind Mapping from the world champion of the craft himself — Tony Buzan. I returned to Oman with my certification and immediately put it to work, conducting Mind Mapping workshops for children, adults, and corporate teams. It was a transformative experience — not just for my participants, but for me. Teaching the power of the mind became one of my greatest passions. And even though I no longer teach the technique to others, I still use it for myself — to brainstorm, to create, and to bring new ideas to life.

Moved to Dubai

When opportunity knocked, we answered — and Dubai was calling. In early 2012, alongside my husband and two children, we made the leap to one of the fastest-growing cities in the world. A city of ambition, energy, and endless possibility — it felt like the perfect place to begin a bold new chapter. As soon as we settled into our new home, I wasted no time — diving straight into craft exhibitions, reconnecting with my creativity, and immersing myself in Dubai's vibrant, inspiring culture. It has been an extraordinary journey of growth, discovery, and endless learning ever since, and I have never looked back.

Design Junction

In late 2015, I received one of the most exciting invitations of my creative career — to showcase my work at Design Junction, one of London's biggest and most prestigious craft shows, held at the iconic Victoria House in the heart of the city. It was a truly unforgettable experience — presenting my pieces to an international audience who embraced and celebrated my work with such warmth. I had the privilege of connecting with some of the most talented craft artists from around the world, an experience that deepened my passion and broadened my creative vision in ways I had never imagined.

Divine Flowers Dubai

Returning from London, something in me was alive like never before. The success I had experienced at Design Junction gave me the clarity and confidence I needed — it was time to turn my passion into a serious business. In 2016, I launched Divine Flowers Dubai, a concept unlike any other flower store in the city. More than just flowers, Divine Flowers became a world of over 800 handmade products, each one designed and crafted by me over years of creative dedication. It became my playground — a space where I connect with people of all nationalities and cultures, creating bespoke products inspired by their stories and tastes. From stunning floral arrangements to complete gifting solutions, Divine Flowers is a brand I built from the heart, and one that truly stands in a class of its own in Dubai.

My First Book

n 2021, I did something I had always dreamed of — I wrote my first book. 'The Secret Basket' is now available worldwide on Amazon and major book search engines, but the journey to get there was anything but simple. It began with a rough draft, written word by word through sheer determination. I printed the entire manuscript on A4 papers, designed my own cover, and carried that draft with me every single day. At work, on breaks, in quiet moments — I would open those pages, read, reflect, and rewrite anything that didn't feel right. I did this for months, refining every section until the words felt true and complete. Only then did I send the final draft to the publisher. And then one day, unexpectedly, a package arrived at my door. Inside was my first ever printed copy. I ran to my computer, searched my name — and there I was, live on every book search engine in the world.

Divine Luxury Code

Divine Luxury Code had been living in my mind for years — long before the name itself became clear to me. It was only when I made the decision to register the business officially that everything crystallised. I knew, with absolute certainty, that everything I had experienced across decades of business — every triumph, every setback, every hard-won lesson — was something others could deeply benefit from. The ups and downs I have lived through are not scars I hide; they are the very foundation of what I teach. Most people speak about entrepreneurship in terms of freedom, power, and possibility — and yes, all of that is real. But I wanted to offer something more honest, more human. I want to share the difficulties, the moments of doubt, the things nobody warns you about — so that the people who follow me never have to face those same walls alone. Divine Luxury Code is not just a business. It is my life's work, offered with intention, heart, and a deep desire to help as many people as possible, to live the life they truly deserve.
